Hospital Heroes: Outreach
6th of July, 2020
June through September will see the Hospital Heroes Gallery highlight those outside the four walls of the hospital who have made an impact the lives of sick children through research and clinical support.
The impact of the hospital is not contained within its walls, but touches the lives of children regionally, nationally and internationally – that is what makes The Royal Children’s Hospital great. Campus partner researchers dedicate their lives to the advancement of paediatric medicine, with global benefits. RCH allied health staff provide specialist in-home care. Staff from the Wadja Aboriginal Family Place offer clinical, emotional, social and cultural support and services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and their families.
The gallery is located at the southern end of Main Street on the ground floor of the hospital and has been developed, produced and delivered in collaboration with RMIT University photography students.
