Celebrate. Create. Connect. The RCH150 Aboriginal Art Project Closing
Thursday 3 June 2021
Celebrate. Create. Connect: The RCH150 Aboriginal Art Project is a centrepiece project of RCH150.
Concluding a special week of celebration to coincide with National Reconciliation Week, the RCH Foundation launches the second of two major First Nations artworks for permanent public exhibition at the hospital – a large sculptural piece created by Yamatji artist, Robyne Latham, taking up residence in the hospital’s Great Northern Court.
Thanks to the generous support of Mr Ken Harrison AM and Mrs Jill Harrison OAM, this special project acknowledges all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, pays tribute to the role they’ve played in our history, and the importance of reconciliation as we move toward the future.
